Growing
Community

Thank you for giving on Tuesday!

YAY a very Happy Giving Tuesday!

Everyone’s generosity played a part in generating donations totaling $10,000.00. Adding all those donations to a $5,000.00 match Community Health & Education Foundation (CHEF) allowed us to reach our goal of raising $15,000 this Giving Tuesday.

During these trying times your donations are extra special to us. It is especially heartening to know that our community supports us and our efforts to help our neighbors as we all try to muddle through as best we can.

Thank you all for helping us continue our mission to TEACH, GROW and GIVE in our community!

Fertile GroundWorks Grows, Donates 200,000 Pounds of Food in its First 10 Years

We teach, grow, and give.

Fertile GroundWorks is a nonprofit with the mission to encourage, empower, and teach individuals and communities to grow healthy, nutritious food, organically and sustainably. The Garden of Grace, our principle teaching garden, is located in Livermore on land owned and provided for our use by Asbury United Methodist Church. Produce from our educational garden is given to local community kitchens and food pantries to help feed those in need.

What we do:
