Armenian Melon Cucumber

The Armenian cucumber, is genetically a melon but is a long, slender fruit which tastes like a cucumber and is usually eaten unpeeled like a cucumber. The fruit grow uniformly and can reach between two to three feet in length by about two inches in diameter, although they are best eaten in about 70 days when they are around twelve to fifteen inches long. They tend to twist and curve when left to grow on the ground, but grow straight when provided with trellising.
