Trombetta aka Trombetta di Albenga aka tromboncino is a unique squash that will raise eyes in your garden. Grow it on a trellis and the fruit will stay straight if left to hang. If the fruit hits the ground or grows on the ground, it will take on some unique yummy curves. The fruit can be eaten as a zucchini while green at 12-15” long at 65-75 days. We like to grow it as a winter squash, harvest when fruit is tan colored and eat the 3 to 6 ft. tan fruit like a butternuts (90 to 110 days).
